Ashish Sharma married to his long time girlfriend, Qubool Hai fame Archana Taide on 30 January 2013 at Jaipur. The wedding was a typical Rajasthani marriage and was attended by nearly 700 guests. Winner of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7
Rangrasiya fame Ashish Sharma has won the journey of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja 7. He won prize money of Rs 30 lakh and a Mahindra XUV along with the trophy. Ashish beat the other three finalists, namely Karan Tacker, Mouni Roy and Shakti Mohan. Now, Ashish intends to continue pursuing dancing.

He said, " This journey from non-dancer to dancer has given me a lot of self-confidence and inner strength. I feel like a different person. When I came on the show, I never expected to go through the experiences that I did. Now I feel these experiences have enriched my life beyond recognition."

Rudra in Rang Rasiya
Ashish Sharma played the lead role of Rudra in Rang Rasiya opposite Sanaya Irani. Rudra was a very desolate and disconnected character, and to make it more real, Ashish used to sit near the window and gaze at the sky at night for hours. He played Rudra's character very well.
